ShantyStay accommodations offers 10 small, rustic yet cozy cabins. We are located in Eastern Prince Edward Island in the heart of the beautiful seaside Town of Souris. Our shanty shacks were built by hand from the ground up using Island white cedar. Our vision was to create a unique and affordable accommodation concept.

Whether you need a place to stay for one night while waiting to catch the ferry (Iles de la Madeleine) or are looking to discover our region, ShantyStay is an ideal choice for your vacation needs.

ShantyStay accommodations are perfect for cyclists (motorbike or pedal) touring the Island and for travelers wanting a glamping (glamorous camping) experience in a village setting.

We even have a storage shed for bike storage (equipped with bicycle pumps.)
